Estimates and quotes
For local moves we provide a written estimate based on the home size, access, and details you share. Hourly local work is billed at the rates quoted, and the final amount depends on the actual time and any added services. For long-distance moves we provide a binding written quote: the price is locked as long as the inventory and conditions match what you told us. If the scope changes on moving day, whether more items, an added stop, or blocked access, we will tell you the adjustment before we proceed.
Deposits and cancellation
A $129 deposit reserves your date and is applied to your final total. If you need to reschedule, give us as much notice as you can and we will move your date when our calendar allows. Cancellation and deposit-refund terms are stated on your booking confirmation; please review them when you book.
Liability and valuation
Released-value protection of $0.60 per pound per article is included at no extra charge, as required by federal regulation. Full-value protection is available for an added cost and should be arranged before your move. Claims for loss or damage must be made in writing within the period noted on your paperwork. We are not liable for items you pack yourself unless our crew handled them improperly, or for pre-existing damage and ordinary wear.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute will be handled under Illinois law in the appropriate Cook County courts.
